Records
The Police Department Records Unit, overseen by the Support Services Manager, is comprised of five records specialists, one property and evidence specialist, one court liaison specialist, and one supervisor. This unit manages all police department records, including crime and accident reports, warrants, traffic citations, and parking citations.
Report Request
Police report copies or Public Records Act requests may be submitted online at the link below or in-person. Once the request is received, please allow 7-10 business days for processing.
- Police reports may only be released to authorized parties and according to State law.
- Reports involving certain types of crime (i.e.; juvenile cases and some sex-related crimes) cannot be released to anyone except district attorneys or law enforcement agencies.
- Electronic copies of a report are available at no cost via GovQA
- If you wish to request a report in person, the cost for a physical copy of a report is $.10 per page after 10 pages.
Suspects or arrestees requesting copies of their arrest report must contact the Santa Clara County District Attorney’s office at 408-299-7400. The office is located at: 70 West Hedding Street San Jose, CA 95110

Traffic Collision Reports
As part of our ongoing effort to improve the processing and delivery of accident reports, the Campbell Police Department has partnered with LexisNexis to manage and distribute traffic reports through this secure online portal.
Collision reports from June 2020 to the present are available online for your convenience.
If your vehicle has been stored or impounded by the Campbell Police Department, you must obtain a vehicle release prior to retrieving your vehicle at the tow yard.
You will be required to pay a fee to obtain a vehicle release. The tow company is also permitted to charge a fee for towing services and vehicle storage.

Parking tickets can be paid online at www.pticket.com, over the phone at 1-800-525-8553 or by mail: enclose your check or money order payable to the City of Campbell, Office of Parking Violations, P.O. Box 11113, San Jose, CA 95103-1113. To avoid a late fee, payment must be postmarked within 21 days of citation issue date. Please write the citation number on the check or money order.
If you have a correctable violation and wish to have the citation signed off, any California Police Officer can sign off the citation. Proof of insurance can only be signed off by the court. San Jose Traffic Court will accept a photocopy of your current insurance card as proof of correction.
The Campbell Police Department will be suspending citation sign-off services until further notice.
